Mahoghany officially became a PLAYWRIGHT in 2004 when she wrote, directed, produced, choreographed and performed "LOVE, LAUGH & LIVE TO CREATE" for which she received commendation from the Mayor.

Her sophomore "baby" "HAPPINESS FOR SURVIVAL" took center stage in 2015/2016 with a SUPER TALENTED ALL WOMEN CAST!

On March 5, 2020, just before our world changed as we knew it, Mahoghany was informed via a congratulatory email that she was now an award winning playwright for her work “WE KIDS BE KIDS'“. Since then her creativity has been in overdrive with 6 new plays in the making.

“I am heavy into creating whatever I want whenever I want…it’s the only beautiful thing I have control over.”
